About the Blogging Fellowship:
Fellows join ArtsFwd for 4 month terms starting in September, January, and May. Blogging Fellows are expected to contribute posts on average of 500 to 800 words twice monthly and to monitor comments on their posts and respond as appropriate. Fellows are paid $50 per post.
Topics for posts are selected and edited in collaboration with the EmcArts staff, and may include analysis of sector trends and current events, interviews with arts leaders and non-arts innovators, and roundups of news and events. Disciplines covered include theater, dance, opera, music, visual art, museums, media and other arts.
The next deadline to apply is January 15, 2012.
To apply, send a cover letter that describes your interest in the position and at least two specific areas of interest within the arts that you could focus on, a resume, and two relevant writing samples to Piama Habibullah, phabibullah@emcarts.org.
