Alberta Theatre Projects, Downstage, and Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre have been selected to move forward into Incubating Innovation, a program that supports organizations in designing and prototyping new strategies for increased public impact and value.
The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra & Francis Winspear Centre for Music, Northern Alberta International Children’s Festival, and Theatre Alberta have been selected from New Pathways | Edmonton to continue into Incubating Innovation.
Judy Lawrence is an EmcArts’ facilitation fellow in Calgary, AB for 2015. In this op-ed, she writes about International Avenue Arts and Culture Centre’s (IAACC) small experiments with radical intent, which resulted in a vibrant community forum for local engagement.
Alutiiq Museum, the Island Institute, Anchorage Concert Association, and Perseverance Theatre have been selected from New Pathways | Alaska to continue into Incubating Innovation, a program that provides innovation grants of $20,000 each to support organizations in exploring, testing and prototyping adaptive strategies for increased public impact and value.
New Pathways, a training and immersion program for non-profit organizations that want to learn more about innovative strategies for problem solving, is expanding into Canada.
